Anyone who knows me well enough knows that I'm a connoiseur of terrible cinema. I'm also a fan of Fritz Lang's early '30s classic sci-fi film Metropolis. Noting this, it should be natural for me to want to see the out of print, late '80s Giorgio Moroder bastardization of Metropolis, which is cheesily colorized, and paired with a synthesizer-heavy soundtrack boasting the likes of Pat Benetar.
I've been wanting to watch this version for a while now, and just realized yesterday that the Webster U. library has multiple copies. I put it on, expecting it to be wonderfully horrible, but it wasn't. It was just horrible-horrible. I couldn't watch more than 5 minutes of it before I had to stop.
Mind you, I've sat through the entirety of Turkish Star Wars on multiple occasions.

Yeah, there are definitely some movies that fall into that category of being so bad that you can't make fun of it- you just plum can't stand to watch.
I cite "Dodgeball" as a recent example of this.
