A few words of advice. Listen well, and I may very well save you over a thousand dollars. If you're buying a laptop, buy an IBM or an Apple. If you're buying an expensive piece of electronics and a store offers you an extended warranty, make for damn sure that it's through the product's manufacturer, and not an unreliable third party. And if someone you know tells you they heard that some electronics store on the Internet is "pretty good," it would behoove you to look first on Google, Yahoo, or the Better Business Bureau, for that matter, and see what people are actually saying about it. Almost always, where there's smoke, there's fire.
