The last eight minutes of Venezuela's oldest TV station, RCTV (Radio Caracas Television), and the first few seconds of its state-owned replacement TVes on May 27-28. The Venezuelan government declined to renew their broadcasting license, due to their support for the 2002 coup attempt against Hugo Chavez, and for their lack of coverage of Chavez regaining power. A week of protests has followed.
